I am the average Jackson County citizen that believes this plan is completely unfair to people like me. Although I love the teams here in Kansas City and attend a good amount of the games, I cannot sit back and watch the treatment that we are getting from those in charge. That is exactly what provoked me to create this web site.

I cannot stand seeing the rich and powerful try to manipulate the average man, or the little guy. The county executives, the sports authority members, the Chiefs, and the Royals are attempting to trick the ones they rely heavily on into something that is just bad for them and their kid's futures. They should be ashamed of themselves, yet they are boastful of what a good job they are doing. This is something that one would expect from a cold and greedy community, not Kansas City. We are much too good for this type of bullying. We have to take a stand now or they will continue to treat us this way. So, you bullies, consider this your proverbial "punch in the nose" from the little guy. As our Latino friends say - No Mas!

Who I am is not important. I am not doing this for fame or anything silly like that. If you need to put a name with me, just use the name Dufus Rawes. For those of you don't understand this name, here it is. The Chiefs have a columnist named Rufus Dawes, but nobody has ever seen or met him in public. The Chiefs say that he does exist, but I am not so sure. Let's just say he is a pretty nice mouthpiece for King Carl. Oh yeah, I was already on edge with the Chiefs because of these types of antics.

I truly hope these pages will bring you to a common sense vote of NO on April 4th. Just be sure to get out and vote. We have the power, let us use it.
