They
have really stuck with the whole "Only one thing unites
us"
haven't they? This is probably one of the most shallow things
to say. Come on, I am a huge fan and everythng, but let's
keep the right perspective. You know what, I will give them
the benefit of the doubt here. Let's say that the teams are
the one thing that unites us. Let's say that this is a true
statement for this community. Now, given that the teams are,
in fact, the one thing that unites us, would it not be the
easiest thing in the world to come up with a plan that is
fair for all parties? Since this is such a force of unity,
would it not be the easiest task of all to agree on something
that is so unifying? Yet, the county is all doom and gloom
about having to go back and draw up another plan. This only
makes sense if there is a room full of division and last
I checked they were all fans of our teams. Maybe we have
some closet Raider and Yankee fans on the Jackson County
legislature. Of course this is all
a joke.
This
save our stadiums campaign is nothing more than absurd statements
backed up with opposite actions.
I
guess the only way to prove this statement correct would
be a 100% yes vote on Tuesday. If the 100% yes vote is not
accomplished, then this statement and all the others like
it are nothing more than dishonest opinions by a handful
of people that just happen to have more than a million
dollars to play with. I would really enjoy hearing someone
over at
save our stadiums explain
and
substantiate
statements like these. |
